See also our Privacy Policy.
1. Agreement
By accessing farmsyncai.com or the FarmSyncAI app (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Closed beta; invite-only app
The Service is in closed beta. The app at app.farmsyncai.com is invite-only. We may approve, deny, or revoke access at any time, for any reason, without notice.
Features may be incomplete, change, or be withdrawn during beta. We appreciate feedback but do not guarantee any roadmap item.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for compliance with local laws related to farming, food safety, and data protection.
4. Accounts
You may register with email and password (and optional OAuth where offered). You must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse the Service, probe security, or access others' FarmSites or data;
- upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
- scrape, reverse engineer, or overload our systems;
- use the Service for emergency life-safety decisions.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, FarmSite data, messages). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service, including sending photos to identification/AI processors as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. No professional advice
FarmSyncAI provides informational guidance only. It is not professional agricultural, horticultural, veterinary, or medical advice. Outputs may be wrong or incomplete — especially in beta.
Do not rely on the Service for:
- pesticide or chemical application decisions without label and local regulation review;
- diagnosis of human or animal health conditions;
- compliance with organic certification, export rules, or food safety law.
Consult qualified professionals for decisions that affect health, safety, legal compliance, or commercial outcomes.
8. Third-party services
The Service integrates third parties (e.g. Gemini, Pl@ntNet, Open-Meteo). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their processing. We are not responsible for third-party outages or changes.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate operation.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE OPERATOR(S) WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, CROPS, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO USD $100 (OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, IF GREATER — TYPICALLY $0 DURING FREE BETA).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in those cases, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion by email. Sections that by nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity) survive termination.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with an updated effective date. Material changes may be notified by email or in-app notice when practical.
