1. Who we are
FarmSyncAI ("we", "us", "our") provides a garden and farm guidance app at app.farmsyncai.com and this website at farmsyncai.com. During the closed beta, access to the app is invite-only.
2. What this policy covers
This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you:
- visit farmsyncai.com (including the beta application form);
- create an account and use the FarmSyncAI app (web or mobile);
- contact us for support.
3. Information we collect

We do not require a Telegram account. Authentication uses email and JWT-based sessions (and optional OAuth providers where available).
4. How we use information
We use your information to:
- provide, maintain, and improve FarmSyncAI;
- map guidance to your FarmSite, weather, and sensor context;
- identify plants from photos you submit;
- respond to support and beta applications;
- protect against abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access;
- comply with law and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Processors and service providers
We share data with trusted providers only as needed to operate the service:

Plant identification photos are sent to Pl@ntNet for processing; we do not use them for unrelated training. See Pl@ntNet's terms for their handling.
6. Storage and security
- Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
- API access requires authentication; you can only access your FarmSites.
- Photos are stored in GCS with time-limited signed URLs — not exposed as public permanent links by default.
- We apply rate limits and monitoring appropriate for a beta service.
No system is 100% secure. Use a strong, unique password and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
7. Retention

We may retain minimal records where required by law or to resolve disputes.
8. Your choices and rights
During the closed beta you can:
- Access / correct profile and FarmSite data in the app where the feature is available;
- Contact us at [email protected] to request access, correction, or deletion;
- Stop using the service and request account deletion by email.
Full self-service export and automated deletion tools are planned before public launch (see GDPR roadmap). We will honor reasonable requests subject to legal and operational limits.
9. Children
FarmSyncAI is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact us to request removal.
10. International transfers
We may process data in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. By using the service, you understand your data may be transferred to jurisdictions with different privacy laws.
11. Beta disclaimer
FarmSyncAI is in closed beta. Features, data practices, and this policy may change. We will post updates on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
